As the owner and founder of Evolve Beauty, I understand that struggle just as much as the next person, which is why I have committed myself to creating effective, high-quality products that are designed to improve your skin without subjecting it to any harsh chemicals or ingredients.
It was really important to me, when starting this journey, to focus on creating products that are going to help in the long-term as well as the short-term. I didn’t want my products to help for a day just to create issues later down the line. Using natural and organic ingredients has definitely helped with not only that, but also making the products suitable for more skin types and conditions, such as oily or sensitive skin.
Coming into summer and the warmer months I wanted to make sure that we had products that could nourish and protect skin without clogging pores or creating too heavy of a layer on the face. To help you get prepped and ready for summer, I’ve put together a summer collection that will help nourish and protect your skin and stay hydrated in the sun!
This collection has come to include everything from moisturisers to serums and even our new SPF 30 cream. Whilst not necessarily limited to just summer use, these products will definitely help your skin survive the heat and sun.
Timeless Renewal Bio-Retinol Body Oil
A summer life saver that has become a daily favourite of mine is our Timeless Renew Bio-Retinol Body Oil. This body oil has become a much-loved part of my routine, with its relaxing fragrance and amazing benefits, it’s perfect for rehydrating dry skin and leaving my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! It is one of our newer products and I am so excited for everyone to try it!
This heavenly fragranced firming body oil is the latest addition to our age defying product range, and helps to nourish, firm and rejuvenate the appearance of skin whilst improving elasticity and locking in hydration.
Retinol analogue Bidens Pilosa works to stimulate collagen synthesis and improve skin firmness. Hyaluronic Acid locks in hydration and boosts skin elasticity whilst Organic Macadamia Oil and Apricot oils come together to nourish smooth, soft and younger looking skin.
Beautifully fragranced with organic Rose Geranium, Ylang Ylang and Mandarin essential oils.
How to Use: Begin by applying this firming body oil after your bath or shower to clean, damp skin, as this can increase its effect. Start at your feet and massage the oil into the skin before moving up each leg. Massage around the stomach area using gentle movements in a clockwise direction, then move up to applying the firming body oil to each hand, arm and elbows, before moving up and over the shoulders.
Complete your body sequence with sweeping movements over and across the décolleté and around the shoulders.
Sunless Glow Gradual Tan
For those of us who struggle to get a smooth, even tan without burning or damaging our skin or those who simply want a healthier way to tan, we created a natural gradual tanner, with zero sun required. Our Sunless Glow Gradual Tan is a great product for those who want a soft, gradual tan that looks natural without the typical strong tanning smell. I find this is perfect for winter use as well, to help maintain that soft summer glow all year round.
This rich organic self-tan body lotion is designed to give the body a gradual tan over a number of applications. It contains Organic Papaya to smooth the skin and prepare it for summer, Organic Aloe Vera to soothe any signs of redness or irritation and Shea Butter to nourish and replenish dry skin. This gradual tanning lotion has a subtle fresh scent and works without leaving the typical strong smell associated with self tanners.
How to Use: Gently massage over the body, paying particular attention to knees, feet and elbows to avoid irregular shades. Re-apply daily for a deeper tan.Wash hands after use.
Blue Velvet Ceramide Serum
Next on the list from our summer collection is our Blue Velvet Ceramide Serum. This ultra-hydrating serum is packed with natural ingredients that lock in moisture without leaving a greasy residue. Formulated to help soothe and calm skin, the Blue Velvet Serum is a great resource against irritants, allergens and sensitive skin. It's been my go-to for giving my skin that radiant, dewy look we all crave during the summer months. This serum is a true superhero when it comes to maintaining a healthy summer glow.
An organic ceramide serum that is designed to nourish and repair the barrier layer of dry and sensitive skin to help it relax and calm down.
It contains skin barrier strengthening Ceramides alongside plant-based Squalane oil to naturally hydrate and boost skin’s glow whilst Camellia Oil and Blue Tansy restore and nourish the skin to bring relief and calm inflammation and redness.
How To Use: Apply 3-4 drops of our ceramide serum onto cleansed skin, gently pat into face and neck. Use this serum as part of a morning and evening routine and follow with preferred moisturiser.
Daily Defence Moisture Mist
I can't forget to mention our Daily Defence Moisture Mist. Summer can be harsh on the skin, causing it to flake and peel. That's why our Daily Defence Moisture Mist is the perfect addition to your summer skincare routine. Not only does it leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised it also protects, repairs and soothes irritated skin. I use this almost daily, whenever I feel my skin needs a little pick me up.
A potent hydrating facial mist with prebiotics that help to strengthen and balance the skin barrier. Organic Mexican cactus elixir calms irritated skin whilst firming and increasing skin hydration. Hyaluronic acid locks in hydration and plumps up fine lines, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and leave the skin looking younger. How To Use: Spray mist over clean face to tone skin, and follow with your usual skin routine. Reapply throughout the day to keep skin hydrated and protected
Spritz over makeup anytime of day to refresh your look without smudging.
Pro+ Ectoin Soothing Cream
Our Pro+ Ectoin Soothing cream is a new addition to our collection and yet has already become a favourite for many of our customers. It was designed with sensitive skin in mind, as a way to keep your skin healthy, glowing and refreshed without causing any harm or further irritation. By reinforcing the skins natural protective barrier and helping to reduce and soothe any irritations whilst keeping the skin hydrated and refreshed.Calm your skin. This soothing organic moisturiser for sensitive skin helps to reduce skin stress, restore and calm skin down whilst reinforcing the skin barrier, protecting it from sensitivity. Chaga mushrooms help to boost skin resilience, whilst Ectoin and Camellia Oil help to reduce redness, protect skin, restore moisture and bring relief to dry, flaky and sensitive skin. Dermatologically tested on a sensitive skin panel, Pro+ Ectoin Soothing Cream is hypoallergenic and fragrance free.
With any new product, we recommend doing a patch test if you have sensitive skin.
Climate Defence Facial Cream SPF 30
Lastly, one of my summer must-haves is our Climate Defence Facial Cream SPF 30, an untinted face cream designed to provide broad spectrum protection all year around. It was important for me to create a natural SPF that not only protects your skin from the sun but also hydrates, soothes, and nourishes as well. I know the challenge of finding a non-greasy yet effective sun cream that won’t leave me with blemishes or oily skin. It’s one of the products I am most proud of, and I can’t wait for you to try it!
Climate Defence Facial Cream is an untinted, reef-friendly, non-nano Zinc Oxide-based SPF 30 face cream which provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.
Lingonberry stem cells help protect the skin from the damaging effects of sun radiation and free radicals whilst improving skin texture. Prickly pear cactus extract deeply hydrates and soothes the skin from irritation and Hyaluronic acid helps promote a firmer, plumper appearance whilst locking moisture into the skin.
How to Use: Apply two fingers of SPF face cream to your face and neck. Use during your morning routine in place of moisturiser. If you have dry skin then you can also apply this SPF face cream on top of your daily moisturiser. Foundation can be applied as a final layer.
