The cleanser is gooey and quite surprising at first, but lovely and rich and works hard to get rid of eye makeup. (Better than a cleansing oil which washes off too quickly and sometimes leaves the skin dry and not quite makeup free the first time around.) I do think I need to use a muslin cloth or something with it though, to really wash away all the eye makeup. At first, I found it surprising that it was completely fragrance-free but now I think that's a good thing, especially for sensitive skin and eyes.
