I've always had an interest in alternative health and wellbeing, since I was a child and my Romanian grandmother dosed me with herbal remedies! Growing up, I suffered from terrible skin problems, and it wasn't until my 20's that I discovered these too could be improved by following a natural lifestyle. As I introduced natural personal care into my routine, my skin problems improved. I also followed a much healthier diet and worked intensively with a homeopath - skincare is only one element of the picture and I'm keen to share lifestyle tips too. 

My personal interest became my professional career when I joined nude skincare in 2005 as the founding employee. I found I loved researching natural ingredients and designing skin products and I quickly became the team expert on all things natural and organic, as well as on recycled packaging. I decided to set up Good Ventures to use and share this knowledge to develop more natural beauty ranges, and work with others to help them with other natural development projects. 

The idea for evolve sprang from my own personal experience after leaving nude. Products in the health food stores where I shop didn't meet my high standards of how they should perform or look. I wanted to use everything I had learnt to create a range everyone could afford everyday. A little bit of affordable luxury. The very month I started working full time on evolve I found out I was pregnant with my son Daniel. We couldn't be happier and I decided to wait until after his birth to launch evolve. We launched when he was 4 months old (which is generally not advisable!), in October 2009. 

I have a very varied role at evolve. Although we have a much bigger team now of nearly 10, as the only full time employee and founder, I still wear about 10 different hats.
